This article describes the process of synthesis of alkylether-carboxyl
ates (new generation of anion surfactants). Aqueous solutions of chlor
oacetic acid, soda lye and oxyethylated lauryl alcohols, being produce
d at the Chemical Works Rokita, were used to this synthesis. Results o
f big lab scale production and degree of reaction (concentration of fr
ee ethoxylate) have been presented. Surface-active properties of produ
ced compounds, their sodium, potassium and ethanolamine salts and acid
ic forms have been evaluated.
