Abstract
Bed depth service time and legit methodologies are very effective in e xamining ion exchange process for removing boron by columnar operation . They are exployed in this paper for the development of a convenient mathematical model. Such a model provides opportunity for the assessme nt in process parameters among which are the bed depth, ion exchange r ate, influent concentration as well as the pH effect on the service ti me. Experimentally obtained data in the laboratory fit Bohart-Adams eq uation on double logarithmic paper as a result of which a linear regre ssion line emerges. This method helps engineers in designing ion excha nge columns by means of similar operations.
