Abstract
In the development of a multi-daylight mould with a rotating centre pl ate, the chief concern was to improve the economy of the overmoulding process. The main advantage of the multidaylight principle is to reduc e clamp force and decrease production costs. In the example of a car r ear light, a reduction of 5 % is achieved in machine-related productio n costs.
