Abstract
Positron lifetime spectroscopy was applied to study the structure of e lectrodeposited chromium layers. The electrochemical conditions for el ectroplating were varied in wide ranges. It is shown that positron lif etime spectroscopy is able to provide valuable information on the defe ct structure of electroplated materials: the concentrations of vacanci es and vacancy clusters correlated with the applied electrochemical co nditions.
