Abstract
We demonstrate the chaotic behavior of timelike, null, an spacelike ge odesics in nonhomogeneous vacuum pp-wave solutions by analytic and fra ctal methods. This seems to be the first known example of a chaotic mo tion in exact radiative spacetime. [S0556-2821(98)50418-3].
