Abstract
The structure of ne)-[tris(2,6-dimethoxyphenyl)phosphine]iridium(1) he xafluorophosphate shows approximately square-pyrimidal geometry at the Ir atom with one of the methoxy groups of the phosphine ligand being weakly bound in the apical position [Ir...O = 2.724 (6) angstrom].
