Abstract
Didymodon bistratosus Hebrard & Pierrot, an endemic species of the Ibe rian Peninsula, is reported for the first time from Portugal. New geog raphical distribution and ecological notes are given. A description an d scanning micrographs of sporophytic material are supplied.
