MISCELLANIES OF AUSTRALIAN SEMATOPHYLLACEAE WITH A NEW GENUS, MEIOTHECIELLA

One new genus, Meiotheciella, and one new variety, Acroporium microcla don var. rhizogemmae, are described for the Australian Sematophyllacea e. Seven new combinations are proposed (Rhaphidorrhynchium amoenum var . congruens, Sematophyllum subhumile var. contiguum, Trichosteleum sap roxylophilum, Trichosteleum subfalcatulum, Trichosteleum wattsii, Warb urgiella leucocyta and Warburgiella macrospora). In addition, nine new synonyms are suggested. The reports of Clastobryum conspicuum, Semato phyllum crassiusculum, Sematophyllum saproxylophilum and Rhaphidorrhyn chium subcylindricum from Australia are dismissed.
