A general analytical method is developed for describing crossover phen
omena of arbitrary nature. The method is based on the algebraic self-s
imilar renormalization of asymptotic series, with control functions de
fined by crossover conditions. The method can be employed for such dif
ficult problems for which only a few terms of asymptotic, expansions a
re available and no other techniques are applicable. As an illustratio
n, analytical solutions for several important physical problems are pr
