Abstract
The case of a 17-year-old male with hydrocephalus caused by aqueductal obstruction is presented. A-ventriculo-peritoneal shunt was implanted and later removed due to an infection. In the clinical follow-up no d eterioration was observed. No further surgery was necessary. The repea t-MRI showed spontaneous resolution of the hydrocephalus with a normal aqueduct.
