Abstract
Oxidative dehydrogenation of propane with nickel molybdate catalysts ( alpha NiMoO4) has been investigated in flow reactors feeding the react ant gases continuously and periodically. The data obtained by the cont inuous operating system (COS) showed the determining role of lattice o xygen on the selectivity. Moreover, when only the lattice oxygen was c onsumed, very high propene selectivity was obtained. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
