Abstract
The base strength of alkali cation exchanged X-zeolites was investigat ed using the IGC technique. The results show that IGC can give informa tion about the acid-base interaction with polar probe molecules. The s pecific interaction (I-sp, mJ/m(2)) between zeolites and benzene, tolu ene, chloroform can be correlated to the strength of acid-base interac tion. (C) 1988 Elsevier Science B.V.
