In this paper, a Green's function approach to the equation of state (E
OS) is reported for strongly coupled plasmas. In detail, the numerical
evaluation for the quantum statistical ring sum (Montroll Ward approx
imation) and for the anomalous e(4)-exchange contribution is presented
. An EOS is given which contains all contributions of the second viria
l coefficient including bound states (ladders) and contributions of th
e order (ne(2))(5/2). The current interest in EOS data in astrophysics
is outlined.
