Abstract
We present a study of the plasma instabilities in a system consisting of two mutually interpenetrating plasma beams, taking into account the effects of the thermal pressure gradient in one of them. We discuss h ow this gradient may destroy these instabilities. Also we include a de rivation of the dispersion relation for this system and a commonly use d criteria to classify instabilities.
