In this Article the Author explains what is the "PEC",acronym of "Posta Elettronica Certificata",certified electronic mail,how it works and what are the main innovations brought by recent law d.p.r. n.68/2005.The Author dwells particularly upon operational features of the "PEC",law definitions,involved parties and characteristics of the documents transmitted through certified electronic mail.A particular attention is also paid to the security issues related to the use of this peculiar type of e-mail,and to the aspects connected to electronic signatures and their legal value.
