The influence of nonlinear interference effects (NIEF) on the radiatio
n redistribution functions is investigated in terms of the atomic dens
ity matrix formalism. The ion motion is considered within the model mi
crofield method. The particular calculations have been performed for t
he spectral doublet (1s2s) S-1-(1s4p) P-1,(1s2s) S-1-(1s4d) D-1 of hel
ium-like ion Al11+ in hot dense plasmas (T = 350 eV, N-e = 10(19)-10(2
0) cm(-3)). Taking account of both NIEF and ion dynamics is essential
in the line centre and the nearest wings of the scattered radiation.
