M. Das et al., STATE-SELECTIVE ELECTRON-CAPTURE IN THE INTERACTIONS OF PARTIALLY STRIPPED IONS OF BERYLLIUM AND BORON WITH ATOMIC-HYDROGEN IN THE GROUND-STATE, Journal of physics. B, Atomic molecular and optical physics (Print), 31(19), 1998, pp. 4387-4399
The Coulomb-Born approximation has been employed to study charge trans
fer cross sections in the case of collisions of Beq+ (q = 1-3) and Bq (q = 1-4) with atomic hydrogen in its ground state, respectively, wit
hin the energy range of 25-200 keV amu(-1). The interaction of the act
ive electron with the incoming projectile ion has been approximated by
a model potential. Cross sections for capture into different sub-shel
ls have been given in tabular form. Computed total capture cross secti
ons compare favourably with existing available results.
