Extreme ultraviolet line intensity ratios for Ne VII involving transit
ions in the similar to 94-2000 Angstrom range are calculated for appli
cation to high-temperature plasmas, using electron-impact excitation r
ates generated with the R-matrix code. These results rue compared with
line ratios measured from both theta-pinch and tokamak plasmas, and i
n general the agreement is found to be good. However, in a number of c
ases there are discrepancies between theory and experiment, which may
be due to blending.
