The use of information technology as an help to the organisation and activities of the Italian public administration found an important role in several,recent laws.One of the most important is the corpus of law that regulates the electronic trial and the use of informatics during trial activities and proceedings.These rules are strictly connected to the laws that regulate the use of electronic documents and digital signature in the public sector;the reform of the trial rules in an "electronic point of view"(with the possibility to sign and notify,for example,complaints and responses in digital form)seems to be a very important step to improve the efficiency of the national legal system.
