Abstract
Phenyl(trimethylsilylethynyl)iodonium triflate (1a) was prepared in hi gh yields (76-88%) by using the PhI(OAc)(2)/TfOH or pHI(OAc)(2)/Tf2O r eagent system. This procedure was also applied to the preparation of o ther alkynyliodonium triflates 1.
