Abstract
Structural changes on annealing the amorphous alloy Fe72.5Si13.5Nb4Cu1 B9 (Finemet) are investigated by autoionic microscopy. In the initial stages of crystallization, metastable deposits of boride phase (5-9 nm ) are formed in the alloy along with nanocrystalline bcc phase Fe-Si.
