A. Nasser et A. Gobzemis, CLASSIFICATION OF OBJECTS IN DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMS IN TERMS OF LEVEL OFPERFORMANCE, Automatic control and computer sciences, 32(3), 1998, pp. 48-52
A generalization of the problem of distributed testing of mutually lin
ked objects oriented towards complex computer systems and networks is
presented. Instead of a classification of objects into admissible and
inadmissible, a classification in terms of level of performance, expre
ssed as a function of the percentage of successfully completed tests,
is used. A multivalue model of faults is introduced and an algorithm f
or deciphering the system syndrome is presented.
