Abstract
A new simple low cost high power factor correction circuit for electro nic ballast employing a current source type push-pull resonant inverte r is proposed. The proposed circuit provides high power factor, low cu rrent harmonic distortion, self-power-controlling operation for load v ariations and cost-effectiveness.
