HF ENERGY-LOSSES AT THE MINIMA OF MAGNETIC-FIELD DEPENDENCES OF ABSORPTION IN HTSC

Peculiarities of the electromagnetic power absorption are investigated at extreme points of magnetic field dependences in high-T-c supercond uctors. A linear dependence of absorption on the magnetizing field at the points of minima on the curves is established. It is shown that th e main contribution to absorption at these points comes from hf losses directly in grains. The relative value of losses at the minima on mag netic field curves can be used for estimating the grain quality. (C) 1 998 American Institute of Physics. [S1063-777X(98)00410-1]
