Abstract
N-Phthaloyl 3-amino-3-arylpropionic acid analogs of thalidomide that a re potent inhibitors of tumor necrosis factor-a are reported. These co mpounds were found to be potent inhibitors of phosphodiesterase 4. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
