Abstract
A series of alpha-terthiophene derivatives were prepared and their pro tein kinase C inhibitory activity were evaluated. The aldehyde derivat ives were most potent inhibitors (IC50 < 1 mu M). alpha-Terthiophene m onoaldehyde was inactive in the inhibitions of protein kinase A, mitog en activated protein kinase and protein tyrosine kinase.
