CORRELATION OF SEISMIC AND BIOLOGICAL PROCESSES WITH SOLAR-ACTIVITY

The correlation between solar activity, seismic energy of the Earth, m icrobiological characteristics and flows of particles registered by ne utron monitors for the period 1969-1992 were investigated. The notion of seismicity as a part of a unified physical process in a system <<Su n-Earth>> lies at the basis of research. From this point of view, the Sun, the Moon, interplanetary environment, magnetosphere, ionosphere o f the Earth and the Earth itself with terrestrial processes leading to earthquakes represent a unified physical system. A direct correlation of seismic activity with biological indices and flows of particles re gistered on the Earth by neutron screen monitors, and an inverse corre lation with solar activity are observed.
