Abstract
We report a 19-year-old female with tarsal tunnel syndrome arising fro m a ganglion and a bony prominence from talocalcaneal coalition. Howev er, in this case, tarsal tunnel syndrome was caused by ski boots compr essing the tibial nerve within the tarsal tunnel. The patient was succ essfully treated by surgery. This is believed to be the first case wit h double causes (ganglion, tarsal coalition) evoked by trauma (skiing) .
