Abstract
365 nm laser light is produced by sum frequency generation in a LiIO3 crystal using two continuous-wave single mode diode lasers. The effici ency of sum frequency generation as well as the applicability as a rad iation source for the detection of mercury are discussed. (C) 1998 Els evier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
