Abstract
We study self-channeling of light waves in a rotated cut of crystals o f the 4mm and the 6mm classes, whose dominant mechanism is photorefrac tive diffusion nonlinearity. The existence of photorefractive line wav es that can be guided along the edge of the crystal is suggested and a nalyzed. (C) 1998 Optical Society of America.
