Abstract
A new method drastically simplifying calculations of the pair producti on and photon emission probabilities in aligned crystals is suggested. The method allows one to describe the QED processes for any energies and crystal orientations. Possible applications are discussed. (C) 199 8 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
