Abstract
X-ray transition radiation from ultrarelativisitic electrons is consid ered in an ultrasonic superlattice excited in melted quartz plate. The conditions are specified under which the ultrasound considerably ampl ifies the radiation intensity. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All righ ts reserved.
