Abstract
Two studies expanding the customary use of 3M Empore(TM) Rad Disks hav e been conducted. In the first study, Ra-226 and Ra-228 were determine d simultaneously by an improved method that used a single gamma-spectr oscopy analysis. In the second study, various tracer materials and pro cedures were used to correct for yield losses in the determination of Sr-90 and Tc-99 in synthetic samples that contained significant interf erences.
