G. Antonini et al., A SPICE MODEL FOR NEAR-FIELD TRANSIENT ANALYSIS OF FERROMAGNETIC GRIDS, IEEE transactions on electromagnetic compatibility, 39(2), 1997, pp. 114-123
Ferromagnetic grids are becoming more and more popular for electromagn
etic shielding applications in avionics, satellite design, and power e
lectronic systems. This paper presents an equivalent homogeneous but a
nisotropic model of a planar ferromagnetic grid. The nonlinear charact
eristic and the hysteresis of the material are taken into account. The
held source is a low frequency magnetic dipole placed in the proximit
y of the grid, Both grid and source models are given in the form of mu
lticonductor transmission line (TL) equations, They are solved, in the
time domain, by the circuit simulator SPICE.
