Although sometimes dismissed as a banal infection, molluscum contagios um (MC) should alert the clinician to either other sexually transmitte d diseases (STDs) or the possibility of human immunodeficiency virus ( HIV) infection with immunosuppression.(9) It presents therapeutic chal lenges.
