Abstract
To ensure the reuse of domain ontologies, we propose an approach which uses a unique translator whatever the target system. It relies on a m eta-language which allows a declarative description of any model based on frames, objects, relations, or description logics. Its basic conce pt is the meta-relation concept which, associated to a definition, rep resents the signification of the construct being defined. (C) 1998 Els evier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
