AN EMPIRICAL-STUDY OF ATTITUDES TOWARDS TELEWORKING AMONG INFORMATIONTECHNOLOGY (IT) PERSONNEL

This paper presents the results of a preliminary study to determine at titudes towards teleworking at a leading IT organization in Singapore. The impact of teleworking on the propensity to leave the organization , events influencing the decision to telework, perceived advantages an d disadvantages of teleworking to individuals and organizations, super visor and work colleague support, and equipment and bill support are e xamined.
