Abstract
The near ultraviolet photodissociation of deuterated ammonia, ND3, all ows particularly clear observation and quantification of the quantum s tate dependent angular anisotropy of the recoiling D+ND2((X) over tild e) photoproducts. The recoil anisotropy is shown to depend upon five q uantum numbers: The rotational quantum numbers of the parent molecule selected in the absorption process, and the rotational and vibrational quantum numbers of the resulting products.
