Iv. Rogova et Vm. Zolotarev, THE LIBRARY-BIBLIOGRAPHIC CLASSIFICATION IN OPTICS AND ITS POSSIBILITIES AS AN INFORMATION-SEARCH LANGUAGE, Journal of optical technology, 65(10), 1998, pp. 855-859
This paper briefly describes the Library-Bibliographic Classification
(BBK) adopted in the countries of the Former Soviet Union. It shows th
at it is expedient to use subsection ''Optics'' of the BBK to organize
informational-search systems and hierarchical databases. It proposes
an updated version of the classification scheme for optics that will p
lay the role of an information-search language when creating an electr
