Abstract
Strong localization effects present in quantum well structures of CdTe /CdMnTe noticeably affect exciton dynamics and strength and character of exciton-phonon interaction. We show that the temperature dependence s of the PL linewidth, PL peak wavelength and PL decay time strongly d eviate from those expected for Wannier-excitons in structures with ato mically smooth interfaces.
