Abstract
Concrete structures in aggressive environments suffer premature deteri oration from reinforcement corrosion. Traditional methods of protectio n, such as concrete admixtures and passive barrier systems, may not pr ovide the level of corrosion control needed for the intended design li fe. The use of ''cathodic prevention'' during construction is proposed .
