Abstract
From the roots of Leuzea carthamoides, (E)-3,3'-dimethoxy-4,4'-dihydro xystilbene (1) has been isolated and its structure elucidated by means of NMR spectroscopy, including HMQC and HMBC measurements, mass spect rometry, and X-ray crystallography.
