The six-membered ring of the title compound, C10H16O2.0.12C(4)H(10)O, exhibits a chair conformation with the hydroxy, methyl and isopropenyl groups in equatorial positions. In the crystal, hydrogen bonds join t he molecules into one-dimensional co-operative chains, with the O atom s of the hydroxy groups acting as donors and accepters. The empty spac e between these chains is occupied by disordered diethyl ether molecul es from the solvent.
