Abstract
Influence of abiotic (temperature, concentration of nutrients) and bio tic (macrophytes, phytoplankton, fish predation) factors on the specie s composition and seasonal dynamics of the zooplankton community (Roti fera and Crustacea) was analyzed. Strong interrelations between phyto- and zooplankton as well as the long-term effect of predation by fish on zooplankton were observed. An analysis of the qualitative and quant itative structure of zooplankton was used to assess the trophic state of Lake Luknajno.
