Abstract
The process of the growth of diamond crystal weighing up to 0.5 carat was examined in the d.c. glow discharge plasma. At constant parameters of the discharge, crystal growth was observed permanently over time w ith some breaks in the process and subsequent resumptions. The process of crystal growth was examined using an electron microscope, scales a nd a Raman spectrometer. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights res erved.
