Abstract
A non-intrusive method allowing the direct determination of the kineti c energy dissipation rate has been proposed and tested in a grid-gener ated turbulent flow. Homogeneous and isotropic conditions of the flow field have been used to verify this technique that may be applied in c ases of more complex flows. (C) Academie des Sciences/Elsevier, Paris.
