Abstract
This paper introduces an alternative method to conventional tolerance analysis of an assembly of parts/components. It presents a simple yet powerful approach whereby tolerance stacks are modelled and analysed v ery quickly and effortlessly. Two examples are used to illustrate how the model is built and used for analysing tolerance stacks. Several ot her examples are tested out with the model developed and attached to s how how simple and effective it is to use.
