Abstract
Reoperative surgery in gallstone disease may sometimes be necessary. F our cases are presented where second operations have been performed la paroscopically. Two cases of completion cholecystectomy are described where cholecystectomy was incomplete at the first operation. In two fu rther cases, bile duct stones were removed after the initial cholecyst ectomy. There were no serious complications and the patients made a ra pid recovery.
