On May 26, 1995, we studied the region of H2O supermaser emission in O
rion KL in a ''quiescent'' period by using VLBA with an angular resolu
tion of 0.3 x 0.7 mas. We detected a jet and two compact features. Thi
s bipolar structure complements the previously discovered star-accreti
on disk system. The jet is 5.5 x 0.5 AU in size, and its position angl
e is PA = -33 degrees. The brightness temperature of the bipolar struc
ture is T-b approximate to 10(12) K. The radio flux density of the jet
is F = 1060 Jy. The emission exhibits a linear polarization that reac
hes 45%.
