Abstract
The mid-term results in a selected group of 9 patients with native aor tic valve endocarditis managed by aortic valve replacement (with or wi thout complex annular reconstruction) using a totally biological stent less valve are outlined. At a mean follow-up of 48 months, there are c urrently 7 survivors (2 late noncardiac deaths) with 100% freedom from reoperation, valve-related complication, and endocarditis.
